In the last 30 hours or so...
I saw Tokyo Police Club at Mercury Lounge. They were a ton of fun. Go see them at The Syrup Room Thursday night for The Brooklyn Vegan/Todd P showdown.
Went to see The Streets at Webster Hall. Was their last show on tour and they totally nailed it. I don't know another performer who so enjoyably works the crowd like he does. The Modern Age recapped it perfectly. I have nothing to add.
A few pics below...
Woke up, went to Newark and got on a plane to Cabo for my Grandfather's 80th birthday party. My Aunt is hosting us at her place out here.
After dinner, her landscaper came by and played a set of love songs as the sun set behind us. I got a copy of his tape. His voice was incredable.
Be back Saturday.
