There is so much going on this week in the city. I'm sick and sore from spending 15 hours a day on my feet for the last week. The last thing in the world I wanna do right now is to stay out late and listen to live music. Nonetheless...
Tuesday (tonight)
There's a big SXSW runoff show at Bowery with several English bands I don't really have any interest in seeing. The afterparty, however, is a lot more enticing. Don't know much about the Long Knives aside from recognizing the name, but the Brakes have been fighting to make an impact for a few months now and seem to have finally made some waves at Southby. The party starts late for a Tuesday...but it should be a time.
Wednesday
Jose Gonzales at Joe's pub. So perfect. I caught a bit of his Fader set last week following Forward Russia (quite the back-to-back) and it was good, but I was distracted. This should be nice. Later that night there's this huge benefit party for this documentary called Bi the Way on the Frying Pan where supposedly Peaches may play a surprise set. Click here for reduced tickets.
Thursday
The Ark were one of the most talked about bands down in Austin last week. I couldn't go 10 minutes without hearing somebody raving about their gaudy Darknessesque set. I missed them play, but I saw them everywhere I went (they're kinda hard to miss...) Kinda regret not seeing for myself what the fuss was about. They're playing Bowery Ballroom tonight. Since Forward Russia had to cancel their set to appear on some MTV2 Emerging Artists show back in England, this is prolly yer best option for tonight.
Friday
Now it gets tricky. Love is All is playing the Knitting Factory. They're good, tho others seem to love them more than I do. I completely missed the Mystery Jets in Texas, but am planning to see them at Mercury tonight with NYT A&E coverkids The Noisettes and Montreal hype band Land of Talk. There's also a rad Oh My Rockness party at the Brooklyn Lyceum featuring two previous Gothamist Bands of the Week, Foreign Islands and The Big Sleep.
Saturday
Ugh...Arctic Monkeys, The Joggers, Love is All, The Gossip, Mystery Jets/Noisettes, Animal Collective...Take your pick. Hopefully by today I'll be less sick and sore and won't mind hopping around a bit. Joggers take priority for me, however.
No SXSW recap yet...that shit's hard. Maybe tomorrow.
Jesus wouldn't go around forcing nfl clothing people to pay for someone else's healthcare, either. Forced charity is theft, and it is not a Christian concept. So who nhl hockey cares if a couple of talk-show hosts say something "mean" when nfl store the people they're opposed to are committing evil? dfsssfdaaadftt

Thanks for sharing. His music will continue to rock!
I think you need a bit more of a story with this as this isn't really a news story in its current form. Perhaps you could write about why you like Michael so much
It is hard to say such a thing is clear.
