I was the first guy playing Daft Punk to the Coachella kids

Daft Punk has been added to Coachella. "Officially". This is a BIG DEAL, since these guys have been supposedly rumored to play almost every year and never do. Murs feat. 9th wonder (my favorite "underground" rapper by far), NY Baltimore (oops) up-and-comers Celebration, The Eagles of Death Metal and something called One Republic have been added as well. Also, some of the bands were switched from Saturday to Sunday and Vice Versa. More to come, perhaps...

Yeah, I too couldn't be happier about Daft Punk- FINALLY!!!!! The rumors have worn thin with me. also- I did some research, and googled "OneRepublic", found their myspace page and their website (www.myspace.com/onerepublic) ...surprisingly, this band kicks ASS!! I have a funny feeling we'll be hearing a lot more from these guys, if their live show is anything like the stuff on their myspace page, it'll be one of those shows you didn't expect and are happy as hell you caught. Their music is kinda....brit-rock/pop/buckley/u2/muse-ish. w/ some radiohead thrown in it seems, but they kind of touch on the high points of those artists. and they've got one song "apologize' I think it is- Effen incredible. goosebumps. all i can say, anyway, I have already booked a hotel and a flight from boston to cali. here i come!
