Anybody know a good Thai place in delivery range of the Central Village? I've been looking and looking for a decent place to order from, but haven't found anything. I've got Spice covered, but is there anywhere else? Been on a serious Thai kick of late, but keep on getting disappointed with the places I try. A recommendation would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just a sit down place. E-mail me or comment or whatever. Thanks!
Dude, best thai food around is at Pongsri @ 18th street. Puts Spice to shame.... http://newyork.citysearch.com/profile/7087438/new_york_ny/pongsri_thai_restaurant.html?

For Chinese? Grand Sichuan on St. Marks, hands down.

cafe asian- very good, a lot of seafood on the menu. it's on tenth between 6th and greenwhich ave. high quality food and great service, home-made feel. i like it more than spice, but i should say that i'm not a huge thai guy.

As a Thai person, I have to say that most of the Thai food in nyc is crap. BUT, the best place I went to while living in new york was the Thailand Restaurant (creative name right?) in Chinatown. I know that it isn't within your delivery area, but the walk is worth it, trust me. Check out the massamun curry. Also just wanted to say that I'm a loyal reader of your blog-it's fantastic.

I tried Klong yesterday and it blows goats. Go to Pongsri.
