I was kind of surprised to hear that a friend of mine hadn't heard "Pop the Glock" before. I thought it had gotten around pretty well over the last year or so, but apparently not quite as much as I expected. Upon listening, he told me that it was "the most hipster shit ever." So no, I don't think it is a particularly good song, but it's something I could see myself getting excited to hear if it came over the PA 3:15 in the morning at a dance party. That may not be the standard most artists try to reach with their debut single, but I doubt Uffie was really hoping for much more. Interested to see what kind of party she brings out this Thursday at Hiro. Looks like it could be fun...

Er... Definately not a fan of this. I would agree with your friend, but I've had the misfortune to have heard The Medic Droid's 'Fer Sure' and even this can't top that song in terms of "hipster shit." Or maybe The Medic Droid is more "scenester shit".
Either way still not feeling it.
