You should really check out Lily Allen and Beirut, sometimes new things are just as good if not better than old things.

Pinback live is interesting. They tend to rock live as opposed to their records, which are pretty subdued. All the songs tend to be faster and heavier when played with a full live band.
Being from the west coast they are one of the few bands I love that come through San Francisco quite a bit.

one of the guys in bishop allen used to work in my office.
i was going to call you last night so you could explain the premise of 'how i met your mother.' as much as i love the show, i realized i don't know what the f it's about! how WHO met WHOSE father? who is the narrator talking to? whaaaaat?

As a diehard Mogwai fan I have to say that their set at Coachella was pretty weak compared to their normal shows (and besides, Dave Pajo is opening at Webster Hall). But don't just take my word for it, the boys said as much themselves on their tour blog here http://mr.beastmap.com/
