I'll have a review up on Gothamist later today (UPDATE:It's up.), but for now here are some pictures of the sparsely attended Across the Narrows Day 1 @ Keyspan Park. Despite the concert's faults, it was a beautiful day to spend outside listening to music.

I am not sure why people are complaining about the crowd size. i would prefer it to undure sold than over sold. And I had seen almost very abdn on this bill and still loved the show. It was just fun to be outside on a nice early fall day. So what if it was empty.

acriss the "empty" is right..
i agree with danfun, up until a point.. youd rather have it underssold then oversold, only if it doesnt effect the energy of the concert

I'm not sure I'm totally complaining about the emptiness. It WAS a great way to spend a beautiful day outside, but it just seemed...weird. The bands overall did not impress me tho. Whether or not their performances were duller due to all the empty seats, I can't say for sure...

I also enjoyed the emptiness of the show, got there early hung out on the beach and got right in front center both days, although the music absolutely rocked both days, the subway ride home was treacherous for the feet, but worth it.
