I took a lot of pictures, and they're up on flickr. It was a fun day, especially once it cooled off a bit. Dungen was really great, and I developed a new appreciation for Brendan Benson. I'm now 33% more excited for that White Stripes show in September! See and read more below...

Well, the 33% was in ref. to me already being excited about the other two bands playing (White Stripes and Shins). So I guess I'm now 100% excited? I dunno, didn't really think the math out too much...

q and not u are playing the knitting factory. two shows, september 20. tickets go on sale this friday at noon. i'm guessing this would be part of some farewell tour.
