Roots in the Rain

So do you feel like standing out on a pier in the rain tomorrow night with a bunch of preppy thugs?  Well, The Roots are playing a free show at Pier 54.  Go knock yourself out.

I have nothing against The Roots...I think they're fine and great and everything, but if I'm gonna subject myself to the elements to hear live music, it's gonna be at Summerstage to see Dino Jr. and Broken Social Scene.  I cannot believe this show is not sold out yet.

I'd also like to point out that in all my years going, I've never been to Summerstage when it WASN'T absolutely pouring...
