A couple weeks ago I was lucky to witness Charles Bissell of The Wrens play an absolutely phenomenal solo show at Pete's Candy Store. Tomorrow night he'll be taking a stage on his own once again. It's for a last minute benefit show for a very good cause:
Gabriella Giannone is an eight-month-old girl who recently underwent a costly organ transplant and all the proceeds from this show are going to offset her family's medical expenses. The show is tomorrow at Maxwells in Hoboken. Charles is supposed to go on at 9:00. Hope everyone can make it. (Thanks Kathryn for the heads up!)
