By now most have surely read of Albert Hammond's past successes on the roller rink that became public last week. I think everyone's reaction was more or less "huh...that's kinda cool." At least compared to the public backlash some have gotten for their embarrassing past, Hammond appears to be off the hook.
That being said, I laughed out loud when I saw the new iPod commercial last night. Rollerskates! How...timely.
Another great ad from Apple, of course. Helps too that they've got the best single of the year backing the skating silhouettes. Shame they couldn't have timed it better with The Strokes putting out a new single or something...

Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.
(or you can, uh, buy it off iTunes...)
Related: My father told me yesterday that he finally bought himself an iPod mini. Congrats Dad. If you're looking for some mp3's to download, go check out Jen's physicist mixtape. Lots of great stuff over there.
My mum just bought an iPod mini over the weekend. I never knew there could be so much pain in trying to teach someone how to use an iPod until now.
