Ok, so here's the deal...
I desperately need a haircut. Problem is, the woman I've been going to for the last 7 or 8 years is out of town till mid June. I really don't think I can wait that long. Anybody have a good, relatively inexpensive spot I should check out? I'm not looking for anything too fancy. Just a damn haircut. Email me or drop a comment if you have any suggestions. Thanks!
check out this morning's AM New York...Theres a spread on haircuts towards the back.

On Chambers (and Church?) I saw a sign for a haircut for $3.99 I think. I've never been there, but always've been tempted, just so I can announce to all the bargain I got. I think they have a limited amount of "styles" for that rate though.

I hear the winneroftheSAT gives great haircuts.

I didn't write that last comment. But it's true. I charge a 40oz of beer. I've been cutting my own hair for the last 4 years. You can hardly tell!

Benny, at the place under the AP building in Rock Center is awesome. Will cost $20-25. I had decent luck at that shop in Astor Place.
